Want to do your part in helping the environment during this crisis we are experiencing but also dying for a brand-new wardrobe this fall? Maybe it’s time you take a walk on the vintage side and help our big mother E by reusing some pretty cool clothes. Funky sunglasses, unlimited supply of band T’s, and possibly some trendy Levi’s; you can find it all at the vintage shop and more. The best thing about shopping at a second-hand store is that you never know what you are going to find.
Now is the perfect time to visit your local vintage shops to stock up on flannel plaids for fall or the perfect pieces to finish that Halloween costume you are working on. Below we have listed 3 Vintage shops throughout Toronto that all vintage lovers dream about.
1. Public Butter/ Black Market Vintage
Black market is one of the oldest and well known Vintage shops in Toronto since the 80’s with all the OG Vivienne Westwood punk vibes. These two vintage shops are owned by a trio by the names of Tracey Opperman, Bernard Chung and John Christmann. With a promise to help our dear planet with “reclaiming, recycling and upcycling” these vintage shops make it aware of their collection being “Toronto’s largest selection of vintage clothing” so you know there is definitely something special waiting for you.

You may find the prices a little steep for some garments but it’s definitely worth it. Not only is every piece hand picked they are also taken care of to the highest standards.
