Fashion trends come and go, but it seems this one’s here to stay. A small black shoulder bag with many clothing companies carrying various styles from Aritzia Sunday best to H&M, we were seeing this purse from instagram to the streets – especially on those fun, late nights with the girls. Small and mighty, these purses hold everything. Highlighting that this purse is here to stay, thinking it was a fad as it seemed the purse is not as practical as most, it almost seems this small style of purse is being adopted by high end brands, and for this article we will be diving into Diesel’s take on the small shoulder handbag.
Goldie Handbag
Aritzia + Sunday best’s Goldie Bag. As a former style Advisor from Aritzia, these purses were in high demand from 2021-2022. Cute and light weight, this handbag had a bit of a break from the high volumes of purchasing and being worn out and about. This became a staple piece, unfortunately I am not an owner of one, but many of my peers are and absolutely rave over the tiny thing. All the times I’ve exclaimed how petite it is, I was educated on how practical it truly is and holds all the things you need for the day without the extra room for your belongings to roll around and tangle up. Online, the Goldie bag is available in 3 colours, birch (white), black and nori green, there are usually more colours available in store but most popular being black. Another highlight of the Goldie bag, it is made with 100% recycled nylon twill. We love sustainable and ethical fashion.

In this case we are looking at trickle across fashion.This is where we see very expensive and high end clothing in variations of a much lower price and is adopted by not so high fashion clothing companies. We usually see this in our shopping malls, in other words a “dupe.”
With many colours to choose from to fit your style and aesthetic, Diesel has you covered. These purses range from $500-$700 depending the style and how much attention to detail has gone into the purse and the massive D slapped on front. That’s one way of marking your territory.
Diesel and these small shoulder handbags truly make a statement and given how innovative, different, outside of the box and rebellious the style and designs are – this is not a fad, but a huge trend alert.
