Beaches, oh how much we have missed talking about them! And, with the sun out and about, there is no better time to talk about the beaches than NOW! Although, we do realize that there are restrictions in some places, manifesting a trip to the beach won’t harm anyone, right?
Below, we will be talking about a few pieces that will make you all ready and set for a beach getaway. So, are you ready?
1. THE TWO MAIN’s
Any guesses? Well, it’s sunglasses and sunscreen! Sunnies are a MUST for the sun-seekers because let’s face it, you can’t handle the scorching heat hitting right into your eyes without your classic pair of shades. And, sunscreen is the second must-have because enjoying the tan is one thing but IRL we need that thick layer of good sunscreen to protect our skin from the harsh rays.
2. A CUTE SWIMSUIT, OF COURSE!
What is a beach trip without your favourite two-piece or even a one-piece? Yes, we are pointing out that swimsuit in your closet, that is waiting to jump in the water for a good dive.
3. BEACHY BUTTON DOWN
For those who don’t like to go all out with a swimsuit and choose to be covered up, a tropical printed shirt is a great option! We don’t want to recommend a white cotton shirt because why not add some prints and colour to your wardrobe, right?
4. SHELLS, BEADS AND STACKS
While we won’t suggest you to be decked up with teeny-tiny jewelry because it might get lost, some beaded or shell bracelets or a cute golden locket that has a tight clasp, or pairing 1-2 cute anklets will be just enough to accessorize your outfit for the day.
5. FLIP FLOPS
A good and sturdy pair of flip flops is not only the best fit but the most suitable one to carry. We say this because we have tried and tested pairs of sandals, slides, and espadrilles too but when your feet slide deeper into that hot grainy sand nothing but flip flops will be your most viable option.
6. HANDY TOWEL
This is one necessity which if not you, we have forgotten three out of five times! Having a towel is so important when you want to dry yourself up after a dip in the ocean as well as when you want to sit and chill. Pro tip: Choose one that is bright and vibrant or something with a cool print.
7. THE AFTER SWIM OUTFIT
According to us, this is also essential because no one likes to sit all drenched after a good swim wrapped in a towel. We know it’s all about chilling and being a beach bum but you still want to look cute enough to enjoy your pina colada looking all fancy!
8. BUCKET HATS
Another crucial essential to pack, to protect your head from getting too hot! Plus, bucket hats are here to stay for much longer than we anticipated, so this gives you another reason to keep them.
9. TURN ON THE VIBE
Omg, we can’t tell you how much of a vibe setter this small box can be. Of course, we’re talking about a really good Bluetooth speaker!
