INFUSE is glad to announce that this year’s issue is coming out on September 23rd, and we are giving you an exclusive of what you can expect!
Models striking poses, hair flipping, and cameras flashing like disco balls on overdrive: Welcome to INFUSE’s cover shoot! Back in February, our team gathered at the Humber North Campus to commence the creation of the much anticipated INFUSE annual issue under the direction of our Editor-in-Chief Iren Minka, and Editorial Assistant Nathalie Gomez.
Alongside Minka’s creative vision for this photoshoot, she came with one of a kind designs and striking jewelry. Designs that have been part of Infuse photo shoots, which … don’t tell anyone … you can have a sneak peek of.
The videos speak for themselves, but some words can add to the elusive construction of the inside world that is INFUSE at Humber Polytechnic. What we create can give meaning to many more things. A fabric is not a fabric anymore, nor just some heels or earrings, and a person wearing them. When everything comes together, and a model converts to a symbol of fashion through a movement captured by a camera, then what we create has importance. And we want to demonstrate this importance to everyone eager to see the fashion inside these pages.
The INFUSE team, formed by Humber students, showcases how fashion can transform and convert into something tangible, as is the magazine. These students are the ones that tell stories worth being told. Those stories that are changing the rails of fashion not only at Humber but in Toronto.
We would like you to go through this issue with a sense of curiosity for all the designers, creators, leaders, and artists that are part of this issue. With questions as to where they come from and how far they will get. And then ask yourself those same things. The content inside this issue demonstrates that the daydream delusion in everyone’s mind can become truth.
With each click of the shutter made by Humber photography student, Jonah Ruddy, and glance at the camera from our talented models, Abigail Puskas, Alina Bairova, and Krystyna Kalishevska, anticipation skyrockets for what promises to be an astounding issue that will have the campus talking!
